The renowned actor, who is only 60 years old, is experiencing mobility issues as a result of a debilitating illness

As Marty McFly in the film Back to the Future, in which he travelled through time with scientist Emmett “Doc” Brown, Michael J. Fox, then 24 years old, gained fame.

Unfortunately, the actor is already having trouble walking even with a walking stick and a friend’s help.

He is already 60 years old. What led to this? Michael J. Fox has dealt with Parkinson’s disease for more than 30 years.

Even if he is making fewer and fewer public appearances, he won’t give up his social life.

He just had supper with a few friends in Santa Monica, California.

At the young age of 29, the doctors gave him a bleak prognosis, telling him that he would only be able to move for the next ten years.

For a while, Michael J. Fox tried incorporating his nervous system condition into the characters he portrayed to elicit sympathy from audiences because he was hesitant to publicly identify having it at the time.

In 1998, he established the Michael J. Fox Foundation, a nonprofit group that generates funds for the creation of Parkinson’s disease treatments. Since then, he has cut ties with the entertainment industry.

But after working as a voice actor for a spell, he eventually made it back into the film business. He made his acting debut in the comedy series The Michael J. Fox Show, which was based on his actual life and earned him a Golden Globe nomination.

And finally, for his portrayal of attorney Louis Canning on “The Good Wife,” for which he was nominated for an Emmy in 2013, 2015, and 2016 in that order.

On the other side, he just announced that he would stop being visible to the public for the second time.

Despite the fact that his charity, the Michael J. Fox Foundation, has already donated $767 million to medical research in less than 20 years, the actor still holds out cautious optimism that a treatment for his ailment will be discovered within his lifetime.

Michael J. Fox claims that he is a happy person.

“I communicate with individuals honestly and openly when it comes to treatment. I constantly reply, “I’m 60 years old, and science is difficult,” when people ask me if I believe there will be a cure for Parkinson’s disease in my lifetime. Therefore, Fox acknowledged his guilt.

Despite this, he asserts that he is content with himself: “My outlook on life is generally positive. Neither morbid ideas nor a fear of dying affect me. In no way,”
