Just a few days before she passed away at the age of 73 after a protracted and difficult fight with breast cancer, Olivia Newton-John shared a touching Instagram message.

This morning, the actress died away quietly at her Southern California home while surrounded by loved ones. Her death was revealed on her Facebook page by her husband John Easterling.

In the presence of her loved ones this morning at her Ranch in Southern California, Dame Olivia Newton-John (73) died away quietly.

We kindly request that everyone respect the family’s privacy during this extremely trying time.

“Olivia has shared her journey with breast cancer for more than 30 years, serving as a symbol of victories and hope.”

She posted a picture of herself on social media sitting next to her husband John just a few days before she passed away.

The post’s hashtag was “#flashbackfriday.”

One of the first person to remark on the page was the Australian musician Delta Goodrem.

Additionally, fans sent the celebrity warm notes on social media, assuring her that they were praying for her.

One fan commented, “I’m sending you wishes for ongoing good health.” “I will remember you in my prayers.” Light and love.

John Travolta, who co-starred with Olivia in the 1978 film Grease, which launched her career, was one of the first person to pay tribute to her after learning of her passing on Monday.

Instead of sending flowers, the family requested that contributions be directed to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, which supports cancer research.

Chloe Lattanzi, her 36-year-old daughter, and her brothers are left behind.

Three days ago, Chloe sent a heartfelt homage to her mother on Instagram. I revere this woman. the mother. My closest friend,” she declared.

The actress notably overcame breast cancer twice, but in 2017 she was given another diagnosis.

Newton-John famously resisted the part of Sandy in the 1978 movie Grease. She was 28 at the time and thought she was too old to play a fresh-faced high school student

She described the illness in a terrifying interview with The Guardian in 2020, saying, “It’s been a part of my life for so long.” I sensed there was a problem. When it returns, it’s unsettling, but I told myself, “I’ll get through it again.”
