I love my Son.

I will always need my son, no matter what age I am. My son has made me laugh, made me proud, made me cry, hugged me tight, seen me fail, cheered me up, kept me on my toes, and at times driven me crazy. My son is a promise that I will have a friend forever.

When I was having mood swings and foods I previously loved made me nauseous; I didn’t want to raise my hopes high by going for a pregnancy test. I was always laughed at each time I made my way to the pharmacist shop in search of PPT; they always asked why an old lady will be having a pregnancy test.

My late husband encouraged me to go for a test and when I finally did; I was with you. My life never became the same again, you brought life and smiles to me again.

When your father kicked the bucket before your birth, I felt at some certain points to join him too, but each of your kicks reminded me of your presence. Thanks for coming into my life, thanks for being the best and the son I will always be proud of. I love you so much, my baby.

My son may not fit on my lap forever, but he will always be in my heart, in my prayers and on my mind as I love him with all that is within me.
