Conor McGregor is slammed by horrified parents after encouraging his son, 3, to get revenge on a boy who hit him in the back by ‘punching’ him in the mouth

Conor McGregor has been blasted by horrified parents after he urged his three-year-old boy to punch another child in the mouth.

In a video posted on Facebook and captioned “Lion king McGregors,” the former UFC champion, 32, is seen encouraging son Conor Jnr to retaliate after he admitted to being punched on the back.

The controversial Irish brawler – currently in Dubai with his family – appalled fans by telling his child to hit back, saying “aim for the mouth and the nose champ.”

But while McGregor encouraged his lad to solve the dispute with his fists, Conor Jr seemed more interested in his dad’s expensive gold chain.

He then springs to his feet, adding: ‘Why don’t we do some boxing training, come on

The clip was shared with the fighter’s 12 million followers, and many blasted his parenting techniques.

One commented: ‘That’s not how you bring a child up, teaching him to smack children. Teach him to be kind and respectful.’

While a second added: ‘Absolutely disgrace he should be teaching his son good values. Hope his son doesn’t follow in his dad’s steps.’

A third unimpressed fan wrote: ‘Lovely! Telling a kid to go for the mouth or nose to hit another kid. Great parenting, not!’

Another raged: ‘Wrong in a lot of ways. I’m not a parent but don’t teach your kid to go fight in the street. Teach your kid to be better than that.

‘The bigger man walks away. Only use self-defense if you have too. Teach him that, champ.’

However, some people argued dad’s need to teach their son’s how to defend themselves from bullies, while others found it funny imagining the other child’s parents trying to confront McGregor for his son’s antics.

One joked: ‘Imagine Jr telling the other kid ‘my da’s tougher than yours’. Then seeing who his da is. Be deadly.’

McGregor recently cancelled his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier after he allegedly failed to keep his promise of donating half a million dollars to Poirier’s charity, The Good Fight Foundation.

Poirier revealed publicly on Sunday night that McGregor had not yet followed through on his promise to donate, and said he had stopped replying to emails about the money.

McGregor was so incensed by the situation that he is now refusing to fight Poirier in their July 10 decider, and hit back by arguing that he never sends funds unless there was detailed evidence of where the money would go.
