Lord, as we prepare to rest tonight please put a shield of protection around my family and friends and let no harm come to them. Bless them and protect them as they go about their night.
Make tomorrow a good day for us all.

Heavenly Father, I pray that as I go to bed tonight that You would give me a peaceful night’s sleep and help me to wake refreshed, ready, and willing to do Your will.
Thank You that You have given us this blessed time when our bodies and souls have an opportunity to be renewed, revived and revitalized.
Psalm 56:3 “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Keep me throughout the night-time hours under Your protection and may the angel of Your presence encamp around me tonight, for I love and trust You to keep me from all evil.
Grant me Your perfect peace in my heart and give me such a knowledge of Your closeness Lord, that I may rest securely, sleep soundly and feel that blessed assurance of Your love and grace surrounding me, this I ask in Jesus name, Amen.
