According to an expert, Meghan Markle supposedly demands a “one-on-one” meeting with King Charles before departing

It is a time of transition for almost everyone linked with the British Royal Family.

The death of Queen Elizabeth is, of course, an extraordinary event, and the consequences are likely to be felt by even the most insignificant of royals.

As one might expect, individuals who consider themselves to be in the upper echelons of the British monarchy are bracing for a shift not seen in more than 70 years.

The death of his mother implies that (former) Prince Charles’s moment in the big chair has arrived. Meanwhile, the Queen’s death elevates Prince William in the line of succession and makes him the new Prince of Wales. Meanwhile, for his brother Harry, Charles becoming King might bring a slew of changes, and there’s no telling what it might imply for his future in the royal family.

“The Queen died quietly this afternoon at Balmoral.” The King and Queen Consort will spend the evening at Balmoral before returning to London tomorrow.”

At 6:30 p.m. local time, the flag atop Buckingham Palace was lowered to half-mast, and an official notice announcing the Queen’s death was posted on the palace gates, as is customary.

Charles, the Queen’s eldest son and heir, has been crowned King of the United Kingdom and the 14 Commonwealth realms.

“The passing of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a time of tremendous sadness for me and all members of my family,” said King Charles in a statement.

“We are deeply saddened by the death of a beloved Sovereign and Mother. I know her passing will be felt deeply across the country, the Realms, and the Commonwealth, as well as by countless people around the world.”

“During this season of loss and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so universally held,” King Charles concluded.

On Monday, much of the world came to a halt to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth as she made her way to her final resting place. The burial was attended by 2,000 people, many of whom were international leaders and other prominent dignitaries, while the Royal Family was claimed to have held their own private service later in the day.

It goes without saying that the Queen’s funeral was a great spectacle, witnessed by millions of people throughout the world. They tuned in from every direction to mark the momentous occasion, and the sheer volume of coverage ensured that nothing was missed.

This includes the other members of the Royal Family, who were forced to stand for the duration of the event.

The Queen’s inner circle was clearly filled with emotion. Of all, considering the extent of their loss, this is to be expected.

But, as they say, the show must go on.

True, the Queen’s death signifies the end of an era, but it also announces the beginning of a new one. According to speculations, King Charles has already indicated his intention to reduce the monarchy in order to save money.

Of course, considering that Harry and Meghan Markle have already officially stepped down from royal duties, they have little to worry on that front, but that doesn’t mean the book on their relations with the Royal Family as an institution is closed.

No, according to royal expert Neil Sean, Meghan is reaching out in an attempt to obtain a meeting with King Charles before leaving the Kingdom to return to the United States.

“She’d now like to have a one-on-one audience with King Charles III before they return to California,” Sean told OK! Magazine. “Yes, Meghan is meeting with King Charles one-on-one.” You got it right.”

Sean went on to say that Markle had sent a letter to King Charles himself, adding:

“It’s a pretty gutsy move from Meghan.” It would be an opportunity to clear the air, correct the wrongs, and explain some of the reasoning behind their actions over the last two years.”

Of course, it remains to be seen whether Charles accepts or even considers the peace offer. He was supposed to be enraged by Harry and Meghan’s famed tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, and while the Queen was more sensitive to the issue, it’s natural to imagine Harry’s father is still enraged.

In any event, we hope that Harry and Meghan can mend some of the rifts with the Royal Family.

What do you believe will happen in the future? Will Harry rejoin the royal family in some capacity?
