A man sat down on the train beside a priest, looking slightly disheveled.
His tie was crooked and seemed a little worse for wear after a long day.
As they sat quietly, the man turned to the priest and asked,
“Father, what causes arthritis?”
The priest, thinking for a moment, replied,
“Well, it can be caused by stress, poor habits, and sometimes neglecting one’s health.”
The man nodded thoughtfully and went back to his newspaper. A few moments later, he muttered,
“Huh, that’s interesting…”
The priest, feeling a bit curious, asked,
“Why do you ask, my son? Do you have arthritis?”
The man shook his head and said,
“No, Father, I was just reading that the Pope does.”
